Today when we went to work, Ms. Linda asked Mommy if she wanted a puppy. She explained that she had gotten a puppy for Dad, but he did not want it. To make matters worse, Ms. Linda's husband said don't bring him home. So Ms. Linda set out on a mission to give this puppy a new home.
So here is Ghost "Buster" Beck. He was born on June 19, 2010. Cooper and Brewer love him and had a blast playing with him the first night at home. Cooper really wants him to sleep with him, but we need to follow the rules and Buster needs to sleep in his own room.

Weekend at Grandma's
The weekend of July 30th thru August 1st, the boys and I went by Grandma Maria's for the weekend while Daddy went Up North with the Big Boys. On Saturday, we went down to Madison to do some back to school shopping after Grandma was done with her show. Cooper had fun putting on a fashion show for Mommy and Brewer. Then on Sunday we went out to Mr. Steve's Farm. Cooper had a tractor ride to deliver a load, and Brewer loved seeing the cows and yelling MOOOO!

Yuckies Go Away
We are all home today with the stomach virus yuckies. Thursday before we left school, one of Brewer's classmates threw up all over the room. Brewer happened to pick something up by the mess and yup, you guessed it put it in his mouth! On Friday, Brewer threw up shortly after eating lunch and then was back up and running at full speed after a short little nap. Thank heavens, it didn't go any further until early Sunday morning when it got to me. It was AWFUL! My back has never hurt so much from having the stomach flu. Then this morning, both Randy and Cooper came down with it. So we all stayed home to catch up on some much needed rest.
175
I have never been so happy to say that I have a score of 175! For the fourth time of taking the Praxis Reading Comprehension test, I am proud to say that I have passed! Now I need to wait for Carthage to receive my scores so that I can enroll in the classes that I need!
Cooper's Five Year Check Up
On Friday, August 6, Cooper had his 5 year old check up. Going into the appointment, he told me that he was going to be brave. He answered all of the questions for the doctor with little prompting from me. He weighed in at 38 pounds (25th percentile) and is 43 inches tall (75th for height). Dr. Gerlach basically confirmed that he is going to be tall and thin! Then it came time for the shots...it took all that I had in me to hold him down for two shots. The first one scratched him and left him a two inch mark on his upper thigh. But that wasn't the worst of it. On Saturday morning, he woke up with a swollen thigh. It looked like there was a baseball inside his leg, a reaction from the shots! It was very sore for him to walk on and he did little walking and lots of veggin' out!
