Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny hid 70 Easter Eggs in Gabby's backyard for us to find!  At first everyone thought we should give Brewer a head start, and we said no, because all need to do is to tell Brewer to go find the CHOCOLATE!!
Cooper and Gabby worked together to find some eggs that were bypassed by Brewer!
Brewer found one way under here!
Here Daddy, put one in here!
Cooper even found this Easter Basket full of eggs with candy and a fishing pole!
Brewer wasn't too sure about this...a basket full of chocolate and toys for me?  Who could be sooo lucky!

Time to Play

Brewer was very excited to finally play outside.  The past week has been damp, cool and rainy...not a fun week to say the least.  So at first glimpse of the play equipment in Gabby's backyard, Brewer knew where he wanted to go!
Swinging like a big boy!
Grandpa is trying to catch Brewer as he flys down the slide!

Our View

Randy asked for a room up grade in hopes that we wouldn't be next to someone screaming all night, or a lot of kids running and yelling though the halls.  His wish was granted, and we were moved up to the fourth floor!
The view was amazing!
And peaceful in the back
But not so much during the night...we still had the screaming kids next door and they didn't belong to us:)

Jesus?

Every time that we pasted this totem pole, Brewer would say, "There's Jesus!"  So we thought it would only be fitting to have him take his picture next to "Jesus"!

Egg Hunt at Chula Vista

On Easter Morning, Chula Vista had an egg hunt in down in the tunnel.  So we hurried up, packed up and headed down to the tunnel.  There the boys were instructed to find 8 eggs a piece anywhere in the tunnel.
Brewer found some hiding in the plants!
Cooper was making sure that we found them all in that area.
Found more, they yelled!
Here is the bag full of eggs, now for the fun part...discovering the loot that is inside!

Wisconsin Dells

Our thoughts for Easter Weekend, was to take the boys to Wisconsin Dells to break up the car ride and to have some family fun on this long weekend.  We stopped off at the Mooselodge for lunch.  Cooper was like, hey, we've been here before!"  We asked why we were here the last time and he told us because we were at the waterpark.  We asked him if he would like to go there for awhile this afternoon and he said "No, I want to go to Gabby's!"  It took some talking into, but they both finally agreed.  Next time, we are going to work a little more on the pumping up factor!
On our way to Chula Vista, we stopped to look at the water coming through the dam.  The boys were intrigued on this and asked a lot of questions of why!  We were just excited for a nice sunny day!

Coloring Easter Eggs

On Friday, April, 22nd, we dyed our Easter Eggs for the Easter Bunny and Daddy too!  Both of the boys picked out 7 colors for us to color the eggs and then we took turns dying them their colors!
Brewer dipped his first on in orange.  Overall, he did very well, but we still need to practice not to drop the egg into the dye:)
Cooper chose the colors yellow, green, and red to color his three eggs.  He had funny putting them into the dye and then checking to make sure that they were the perfect color!
Brewer is checking on his blue one!
The boys share a smile of accomplishment - seven dyed eggs with no cracks and no dye on the floor!  Now Daddy has hard boiled eggs to snack on!
