Fall Harvest Days

The weekend after Labor Day Weekend, the Southeastern Wisconsin Antique Power and Collectables Society puts together a Fall Harvest celebration in Union Grove.  A beautiful afternoon to be out looking at the farm collections. 

They had barrel rides for kids young and old.  You couldn't help but smile as the driver took us around the grounds of the Fairgrounds.

Brewer thought this was the best part of the day!

The ride lasted for about five minutes going around in circles, and then over by the tractor pull barn before heading back to the tent.

We walked around all of the antique tractors.  This tractor had metal wheels.

Activities were all throughout the fair grounds.  Here the boys are racing ducks by pumping water with hand pumps.  We also watched guys work the hay baler, and cut wood with a large saw mill.  We've put it on the calendar for next year as a must go and do!

Fishing in Canada

At the end of August, Randy had the opportunity to go to Canada for a week with the guys for a week of fishing.  They left on August 25th, and returned on the 30th. 

They drove up to Red Lake, Canada and then had to be flown in by plane to their cabin.

Right on Cobham Morley, the guys were fishing morning, noon, and night.

They caught their share of walleye, northern, and perch.  Check out the site http://www.canadianflyinfishing.com/flyin-outposts/cobham-morley/.  Randy is featured in on the site, and even holds a record in the books for the biggest walleye.



Time For A Little Update

There really is no real excuse as to why I have not kept this updated except to say, we've been a little busy.  With that being said, I apologize for not sharing our memories with all of you these past few months.  I am going to try my best to keep you up to date with our lives and the adventures that we experience.  So welcome back to the blog of Brewcoop & Company!

Tulip Update

A couple of weeks ago, I started this project with the bulbs free standing in a vase with just water.  I started off with four bulbs and have had to toss two of them because they have started to mold.  However, I have two growing very strong.  I should have a couple of tulips blooming in the next few day or so!

 

 

Bowling with the Scouts

On Saturday, we went to the Wolf's Bowling Party at GRC.  All of the Scouts participated in the activity except for one, along with siblings.  They were able to snack on cheese pizza and a drink, and at the end, everyone earned their Bowling Belt Loop. 

Brewer had a blast bowling with the Scouts.  They each were fighting over who would help him set up the ramp and set up the bowling ball.  In the end though, he was bowling like the big guys!  A funny thing too, Brewer out scored all of them:)

All of the Scouts hung around the score board awaiting their turns and cheering on their friends!

Cooper and his friend Conner snuck away to get their pictures taken in the photo booth.  They are definitely goofy when they are together!

I'm Official

On Thursday, I received a letter in the mail with a "Verification of Program Completion" from Carthage.  All of my paperwork has been submitted and my license is now in the hands of the DPI. 

Now, I just need to complete the next step and find a job!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

The past couple of year's, have really enjoyed making the boys Valentine's for them to give to their friends.  I look for ideas that represent them, but also something fun.

Brewer's Valentine said "May the Force be with you, Happy Valentine's Day, Brewer."  We attached a glow stick bracelet to each of them.

For Cooper, we did Angry Birds with this idea.  He sorted all of the gumballs, put them into the bags, signed the cards, and helped me attach the card to the bag. 

We hope everyone had an enjoyable Valentine's Day this year.  We celebrated last Saturday with a fun Fondue night, dessert and all!
